Translation: Apparently, day drinking can be innovative. Who knew?

Once upon a time, I built Drink Lab, a little project that started with, “I should probably write these cocktail recipes down” and ended with, “Congratulations, you’ve won Best Cocktail & Spirits Website in the Australian Enterprise Awards.”

Did I plan for this? Nope. Did it make me sound fancier than I am? Absolutely.

Drink Lab began as a way to share mixology hacks with anyone tired of making sad vodka tonics at home. Turns out, enough people liked my spin on classic cocktails, bad decisions, and strong opinions to make it award-worthy.

Do I still run Drink Lab like I used to? Nope. These days, I’m pouring my energy into books, stories, and snacks. But if you want the legacy recipes, the ones that survived lockdown experiments and a few too many taste-tests, they live on in my cocktail recipe book.
