Notes
- The Fruit is Key: Let your fruit slices soak in the punch for a few hours to absorb the alcohol. This creates "boozy fruit" that's a treat in itself.
- Keep it Cold: For the best flavor and to prevent it from getting watered down, make sure all your ingredients are well-chilled before you start mixing. You can even freeze some of the juice in an ice ring to keep the punch cold without diluting it.
- Start with the Base: Mix all the non-alcoholic liquids and the fruit first. This allows you to taste it and adjust the sweetness before adding the potent alcohol.
- Is Hunch Punch very strong? Yes, it is. The mix of multiple liquors means it can be very potent, and the sweetness of the juices can hide the taste of the alcohol. Always drink responsibly.
- What kind of fruit should I use? Oranges, lemons, limes, and strawberries are all excellent choices. Avoid fruits that get mushy, like bananas.
- How do I make a less potent version? Simply reduce the amount of grain alcohol and vodka, or omit the grain alcohol entirely. You can also add extra soda or juice to create a milder punch.
