Notes
- The Color is Key: The magic of the Astroturf’s color is the combination of the blue liqueur and yellow juice. The more pineapple juice you add, the greener it will become.
- Make it a Pitcher: This recipe is perfect for scaling up for a crowd. Just keep the proportions and mix all the ingredients in a pitcher. Serve it over fresh ice in individual glasses.
- Go Bubbly: For a fizzy version, you can top the finished drink with a splash of soda water or lemon-lime soda.
- Is the Astroturf a strong cocktail? The Astroturf is a moderately strong cocktail. It contains two ounces of liquor, but the fruity juices make it a smooth and refreshing drink that is easy to sip.
- What does it taste like? It's a citrusy and fruity cocktail with prominent notes of pineapple, orange, and lemon, all balanced by the botanical flavors of gin.
