Notes
- The Order Matters: To get the full effect, you must consume the parts in the correct order: shot, then juice, then bacon.
- Fresh Juice is Best: A high-quality, pulp-free orange juice will give you the best, cleanest flavor for your chaser.
- Make It a Cocktail: For a full-sized drink, you can shake all the liquid ingredients with ice and strain them over fresh ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a slice of bacon on the side.
- Is this shot very strong? The Irish Breakfast Shot contains about 1.5 ounces of liquor. While the orange juice helps cut the flavor, it's still a potent shot that should be consumed responsibly.
- What does it taste like? The first shot is a warm, buttery-sweet whiskey flavor. The chaser of orange juice brightens the palate, and the final bite of salty, savory bacon ties everything together, creating a flavor that is uncannily like a bite of a pancake breakfast.
